Jack

This is ‘Jack’, one of my Dad’s working dogs. He is pictured here on the back of the quad and his intent gaze follows the farmer to whom he is ‘offsider’. Kelpies are known for their keenness, and endurance suited to Australian conditions. This drawing was a first attempt at adding colour to an otherwise black and white collection of works. Jack has very distinctive markings which made it easier to experiment with a different style and palette.
